about my central heating?
WOOFIE asked:
i have been worrking away for 7 months. when i came home, my boiler pressure was less than 1/2 a bar. so i increased it to the “red ” needle, “one bar”. When i fired up the system, every thing seems fine, the house is very toasty, but the pressure bar has gone to 3 bar? When i saw this i switched the system off. there have been no adverse affects, to the system, but i dont want to chance a cats-after-me. my boiler is a worsester 9.25 and i changed the diveter valve last news eve.( which was fun over the silly season last year!) We have been here 7 yrs, the boiler is a couple of yrs older. what should we do. we are not insured for boiler breakdown, as yet.
we are now using portable gas heaters to keep the house warm, but with small kids ,its very difficult! We just cant afford to throw are money on a useless heater.
