Are there other uses for 28 second oil central heating oil)?

Note 28 second oil is NOT legal or desirable to be used in diesel engine. 35 second oil or gas oil is required although TVO (gas oil with red dye) is not legal for road use.

Central Heaing System?

Mine is a combi boiler does not have a head tank in the loft but relying on the pressure gauge at the top of the boiler. My question is …What is the best way pf refilling the system? should I leave one of the radiator vent ***** off ..if so which one?…upstairs one or down stairs one? How do I keep an eye on the pressure gauge while watching the open vent radiator for over flow? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Central heating help please?

If I have the water and heat on then the heat is controlled by thermostat but if i have just heat on then the thermostat doesnt work so it goes by the radiator valves.
Is it cheaper to have just heat on or heat and water?
