Wireless internet connection problems?

DrDelineate asked:

I’m having trouble with a wireless internet connection on my home PC. I have a BT HomeHub which supplies the signal and my PC upstairs: which is using a BT Voyager USB wireless adaptor. The problem I’m having is that sometimes when trying to connect to the internet I simply cannot establish a connection: comes up with ‘Page cannot be displayed’. If I remove the USB adaptor, leave it for a few seconds and put it back in I can sometimes get connected this way. When I do get a connection the internet randomly disconnects, sometimes it’s five minutes sometimes two hours: although it seems to happen more often when I try looking at sites with lots of pictures or every time I try to download a large file. I know that the central heating boiler sometimes interrupts the TV viewing (using the same BT HomeHub) and I have a wireless phone (told this may be a problem) so I was wondering if the problem is to do with these or something else. Thanks in advance.

Jimmy
